Fat Belly Baker is the belly-child of two sisters who inherited a sweet tooth from their granny.

Our goal is to make bellies happy, but our mission is bigger than that. Our mission is to bring people together. To build connection + community, because cookies are best enjoyed in good company!

Homemade Love Circa 2003

How on earth did we start baking homemade love? It goes a little something like this…

We were raised in the kitchen. For us, the kitchen wasn’t just the place where we ate our meals, it was also where we did our homework. We gathered in the kitchen for conversations and family affairs. It’s where we laughed and cried. Where we celebrated and grieved. The kitchen is where we lived… and we still do. Of course, the best time to be in the kitchen is when there are cookies in the oven!

Nothing makes a home feel homier than cookies, and that’s how Fat Belly Baker was born.

Long before we were a company, we were baking cookies for the people we loved, but mostly for ourselves. One sister loves to bake and the other believes that dessert is a food group!

Here’s our promise... our cookies will always be baked to order, in small batches. We will never skimp on quality or be stingy with our chocolate chips. Every batch will be infused with the not-so-secret ingredient…

Baking for you Since 2017

Fat Belly Baker went legit in 2017. Baking homemade love and making bellies happy in the greater Los Angeles area. We hope to begin shipping nationwide soon, but we are keeping it local… for now.

12 for them 4 for you

A regular dozen is 12, a baker’s dozen is 13, but a FAT BELLY BAKER’S dozen is 16. That means 12 for them and 4 for you! Everybody knows that cookies taste better, together!

Only the Best Ingredients

Our preservative-free cookies are baked in small batches using high-quality ingredients like real butter, raw sugar, bourbon vanilla, and cage-free eggs. We use the finest chocolate and we grind our peanut butter fresh too! And we bake love into every cookie, every time!

Grandma Approved Recipes

Our Granny is an amazing cook who makes everything from scratch, so when our cookie passed her taste test we knew we were onto something. She is still our #1 loving critic and our biggest fan!

Baked to Order

We only bake cookies when there is a belly waiting. That means that your cookies will always be baked fresh. Our cookies have a short shelf-life because they do not contain any artificial flavors or preservatives, that means they are best enjoyed as soon as you get em’!
